manager is mean spirited, judgemental, and two faced. has different rules for different people

Visited this store as they were closing and asked if I could see a chest of drawers that my friend told me about earlier. After looking my me up and down, the manager and a worker allowed me to see it. I told them that I definitely wanted it and would be back the next day. They would not take my name but said they would hold it until 3:00 p.m. the next day. After picking my grandaughter from daycare and taking her to a preschool class, my husband and I went to store to purchase the chest of drawers. We were ignored as the manager was talking to someone and after a while took the person in back to her office. They were there for at least 10 minutes and I knocked and walked into the back where the manager dismissed me and told me she would be with me when she was finished. I waited another 10 minutes and the person with whom she was speaking came out from the back and told me she was one the phone. I waited another 10-15 minutes and she finally acknoledged me. When I told her I was there to purchase the chest of drawers, she told me that she had sold it that morning. I was shocked and disappointed as I told her I definitely wanted it. She said that I told her I would be back first thing, which I did not say knowing we had to pick up my grandaughter. I told her that my husband would verify that she said she would hold it until 3:00 but she denied saying that. Since this is store is supposed to be affiliated with the Luthern church, I was in disbelief that the manager was not only rude to me but lied to me. She should NOT be representing her church considering this behavior! I will never step foot in that store again and would never recommend to anyone.
