DON'T DONATE AS THIS IS FOR PROFIT. THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH SO PROBABLY SKIRT ON TAXES TOO. SHOP IS OKAY BUT DONATE? GO ACROSS THE STREET TO THE NON PROFIT. GOOGLE THEM. THEY SAY THEY BUY THEIR SUPPLIES IN BULK FROM A NON PROFIT BUT I SEE THE CARS LINED UP TO DONATE. ACCEPT CASH ONLY..ACCEPT FREE DONATIONS...WHAT A SCAM. JUST KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING INTO IF DONATING.

Very popular and for a reason. Half off specials all of the time. Come early for parking and a cart. I have gotten there around 11a, no parking in their parking lot and no cart. Turn over of clothing is fast so you can go often. Some of the employees could use a little instruction on smile and be happy, Cash only and no ability to try anything on. I keep going back for a good reason. LOTS OF SKIRTS, I'm a skirt freek.

Much cleaner than most thrifts and clothes are organized by type and color. Senior day is Wednesday with lots of 50% off specials. In response to another review, the "ladies" across the street at the Assistance League thrift store always point out that "that store across the street" (Valley Thrift) is FOR PROFIT (with a look-down-your-nose tone of voice)...so what?? It's not written in stone that a thrift store has to be a non-profit charity. I go there to buy used items, but also shop at charity stores. This one just happens to be my favorite thrift in San Diego county!

It’s a thrift store, so it’t not the most organized, plus it’s very large & customers do not watch their children despite the multiple signs for not leaving children unattended. Staff is helpful when you ask & make it clear you want to purchase an item, they’ll even hold for you for a few days. Prices are hit or miss. I’ve found a few things at a great price & a lot of things that are overpriced. You can’t expect perfection from a thrift store. Especially one in Escondido. Pricing could be better, I’ve seen items I donated priced for more than what I payed for them in the first place, so BuYeR BeWaRe!!

I usually find what I'm looking for, and them some. They have good sales, but sometimes things are WAY over priced.

Parking is a nightmare, most customers & staff are rude. Staff will push past you to put stuff on shelves. Place gets disorganized as day goes on, very dirty.
