Unlike the previous reviewers, two of us ladies studied the merchandise and prices. My friend ultimately purchased a lovely couch and a well maintained recliner for total of $95. Management and men in recovery were especially pleasant and helpful. I intend to return to browse and support the enterprise.

I have shopped here for years and found more treasures at better prices than all the other thrift stores combined! If only all thrift stores could be this good!

This store has everything you need. It is a very large thrift store and filled with great items. When I didn't have enough to purchase they worked with me on the price. The staff had a great spirit and was very helpful. I would encourage you to shop here despite negative comments left by others, you will be glad you have it a try.

I donated a leather sectional with matching chair, game boy, clothing, jewelry , some lamps and a ceiling fan to this place- when I went in a week later only a few small things I donated were left so I did not see how much they sold for, but I bet it was a substantial amount considering the prices on the other items I saw. I could not believe how expensive they were. I found a painting I liked and when I finally found someone to give me a price it was ridiculous. I would have had to do a lot of restoration work on it. I will never donate to them again.

I recently went to this place to see whether they had any office chairs for sale. I found 2 that I liked when I asked the price I was told they were $30.00 a piece, then this man walks up and tells me they were $75.00 a piece. Both chairs were dirty and needed a good cleaning. I was so upset I had to walk out of that place. The prices are absolutely too high.

Not a good selection, and what they do have is overpriced

This to me is more of resale not thrift. But its a lot less than paying the price of a new item.

Merchandise is way to expensive, especially for a thrift store and the prices constantly get higher someone was in there trying to buy a painting easel the other day and they told him 20.00 a minute later when the cashier actually laid eyes on the easel she said no its 50.00. The man called a friend to see if they wanted it for 50.00 and by the time he got off of the phone and tried to pay for it she said that the manager just came and told her it was 250.00. What!!??!!

the prices at this store are outrageous. It is disturbing that they call themselves a church. They are greedy and they care much more about money than helping anyone. They do not help the community with their ridiculous overpriced items. Do not donate to this place because they only care about money, not the needs of the people. They will take your free donations and charge hundreds or even thousands for them depending on what you give them. This place is pathetic! I saw a table in there with 6 chairs that were wobbly and the table had gashes in it. The price was 950.00, a few days later I came in and the same table had 2000.00 on it. How ridiculous!!! For 2000.00 you can get a really nice brand new table and chair set. If you want to donate items to help people don't give them to Josephs storehouse because their not going to help anyone!

The prices at Joseph's storehouse are absolutely ridiculous!Everything in the store was donated to the store for free, and if a single mother with 3 kids and no money tries to get clothes for her kids they tell her she has to go all the way to baker for a voucher and can only get 50% off of way overpriced items after that. A girl I know took her 11 yr old nephew who had just lost everything to get one of their "50% off of 100.00 worth of items" vouchers for clothes and when he could only find a couple items that fit him the manager said that was all he could get and that he could not come back another day and get the full voucher even if they got more clothes in that would fit him. This place is pathetic and greedy, and they are supposed to be a church and a ministry

The pricing is inconsistent and often far too high for a "thrift" store. One simply cannot determine thrift store prices by using EBay. Had my eye on a vintage school desk for two months. The whole two months the price was $60 - a marginally fair price for the item. Yesterday the desk was marked as "Reduced from $80 to $60". It never was $80 to begin with. For what is supposed to be a store helping people recover from addiction through the "love of Jesus" that's an unscrupulous pricing policy. I've yet to purchase a single item from this store and doubt I ever will as I seriously doubt I'll go out of my way to visit again. FYI, Joseph's, some thrift shoppers are wise and seasoned shoppers well aware of what an item should or should not cost.

abundance of merchandise, no organization, visited year ago there were no prices on anything gentleman at the register guessed & gave me a total. Was there recently & everything was 10 times higher than before AND PRICED. No Customer Service!! And NOT A CHURCH Run Store, told me by another shopper who raised the owner?????

There customer service to say it's suppose to be church based is very disturbing !!! They items are way over priced one person says this price , go back the next week it higher !!! I hate not knowing how much an item is and it took 30 minutes for someone to give me a price because that person was on lunch break !! And supposibly he's the only one out of 20 people who could tell me the price of the item I wanted !!!

over priced items , store is some what junky , stuff is way over priced ..

I often find odd items here. I like to walk around and see what I will find. That being said, it is very messy. A lot of broken junky things. I never get clothes there because they are so disorganized. I don't like getting up to the register and the guy just pulls a number from his head of how much it's going to be.

I have bought several things, mainly furniture. I think they have good deals. A little cluttered but a wide variety to choose from. They will help load anything you buy.

No items are priced. Rude cashier determines price at the register. Only purchase items if he is in an OK mood. He's never happy or friendly.

Too much clutter and items are not priced consistently.
