This is an odd place. There are men's t-shirts still on the rack from when this store opened YEARS ago. It's like no one buys this stuff. From my limited dealings with the owner I've developed a theory that he simply eBays all the good stuff and leaves the racks filled with marginalia. Its Facebook page claims it donates 100% of proceeds to "animal rescue" but it certainly doesn't seem like they're getting much.

I love people who help animals, so when I read about this store benefiting animal rescue I had to go see for myself. While this thrift store is located in the middle of a small, old dumpy brown shopping center, don’t let the rough exterior fool you. Be brave and go inside anyway. You will be pleasantly surprised. THE INTERIOR IS A GEM! (Reminds me of one of those rocks that’s ugly on the outside, but when cracked open, it’s beautiful on the inside.) This store is clean, neat, organized, friendly staff, lots of stuff and great prices,(and bonus, it doesn’t stink like most thrift stores do!) I like to bargain hunt and look for treasurers, and I bought a “Coach” purse for only $7.99 (it was marked $9.99, on weekends everything is 20% off so I got it for only $7.99), and I got my husband a NEW Ralph Lauren dress shirt for only $3.19 (marked $3.99 less my 20% weekend discount). I was surprised to see so much nice FURNITURE! Prices on the couches (the day I was there anyway) ranged from $40 to $200. Plus tables, chairs, chest-of-drawers, bookcase, lots of lamps, etc. Next time I need furniture, I’m looking here first. And they offer layaway on furniture. They help work out payments that fit your budget and they don’t charge interest. In this bad economy, we need more nice stores willing to work with customers like that. Everything this store sells is stuff that has been donated, so the next time I clean my closet or kitchen cabinets or get rid of any furniture, I know where I’m bringing my stuff to donate. (They give tax receipts too if you want one.) I was very pleased with this store, and the fact that my purchases (and donations) go to help homeless animals, makes me like this store even more! I plan to return often!

I recently went to this store just to make a donation, because I love contributing to the care of homeless animals. But I couldn't resist looking around, and ended up making MULTIPLE PURCHASES! Some of the items still had the original tags on them, and others were gently worn, but great finds! The dressing room and mirror were easy to get to, and the store was arranged in a way that made it easy to skim the aisles and find treasures. Yolanda and the other employee there that day were friendly and helpful, and worked continuously to keep the racks organized and restocked. Prices were unbelievably reasonable, and they have daily sales and sometimes coupons! And, again, I love that the money I spent there went to help animals! If you can get past the fact that the exterior of this place is not very inviting, I think you will be pleased with your bargain hunting experience!

This store was recently opened by Texas Regional Animal Rescue Organization and the proceeds go to animal rescue and animal care. The store is clean & organized. They have great clothes & furniture...much better quality than I find in other thrift stores. Plus they have stuff you don't find in other thrift stores. They have lots of TV's that work (really cheap prices on tv's too), tiffany style lights, lots of nice books, dishes, crafts, sewing material, jewelry, a special pet supply section and a home improvement section with doors, windows, sinks, etc....oh, and lots of great kids toys too...not junk!!! The staff is friendly & helpful. Prices are real good, and they will bargain with you too...what fun! And you can take anything back and exchange it, they're real nice about exchanging anything. I love shopping here. I've found some great things and I love knowing my money is going to help animals !!!!! I'll be stopping by this store every payday for sure. Keep up the good work guys!!!
